About Kenya Waridi Maguta

Experience the unparalleled taste of Kenya Waridi Maguta Supernatural, a filter coffee that showcases the best of Kenyan terroir and innovative processing. Grown at 1,650–1,800 MASL across Nyeri and Embu counties, this SL28/SL34 varietal thrives in red volcanic soils, nurtured by a collective of passionate farmers from the Murware community.

The Supernatural process begins with hand-sorted, early-harvest cherries selected for their ripeness. Fermentation takes place in an airtight, cool environment, slowing the process to develop a funky and fruity flavour profile. Following this, the cherries are “burrito-wrapped” on raised beds for three days to amplify their Supernatural qualities before being spread thin to dry over 25–30 days. The result? A beautifully structured cup with juicy cranberry, floral hibiscus, and panela’s deep sweetness.

Maguta Estate’s cutting-edge infrastructure—including fermentation tanks, shaded drying tables, and carbonic maceration facilities—ensures every step of the process is handled with care and precision.

Perfect for filter brewing, Kenya Waridi Maguta is a dynamic, fruit-driven coffee that captures the essence of Kenyan craftsmanship.

Some are perfect to relax and wind down, others can get a bit loud and noisy from time to time. Some have even been put together by the farmers we collaborate with.
