About Daterra Low Caf Aramosa

Perfect for the PM, Daterra's Low Caf Reserve is the ideal afternoon coffee. Daterra farms in Brazil have spent years cultivating unique varietals suited to their terroir and climate. We’re lucky enough to present a lot of their natural processed Aramosa varietal, a fruity and funky Brazilian coffee with a hidden benefit.

Aramosa is crossbred varietal of coffee that produces 50-70% less caffeine than typical Arabica varietals. So what? So what?! It means you can enjoy a great, interesting, delicate espresso or two, without worrying how late in the day it is. It means you can have twice as much coffee without altering your caffeine intake!

More important is this cups super rich flavour profile. Due to the natural processing, the lot has a fruitier profile than is typical from a Brazilian coffee. It retains the rich, caramel sweetness that Brazil is known for, but has clear notes of raspberry, with a grape-like aftertaste. Roasted for espresso, the texture is velvety and rich, and leaves you wanting more. Good thing it's Low-Caf!

Afternoon Tracks

Before we turn on the coffee roaster in the morning, there's one thing we just can't go without.. music. We curated several playlists for you to enjoy while sipping. Some are perfect to relax and wind down, others can get a bit loud and noisy from time to time. Some have even been put together by the farmers we collaborate with. Keep on rocking in the free world!
