About Colombia Geisha El Rincon

The first drop - Colombia Geisha with its origin from Huila, Santa Maria produced by Diego Horta at his farm El Rincon.

Diego Horta grew up surrounded by coffee on his family's farm, learning every aspect of coffee cultivation from his parents. Their hard work and dedication inspired him to improve the quality of the coffee and add value to his products. He became fascinated with different coffee varieties and processing methods, particularly experimenting with Geisha and Sidra varieties. Diego adopted innovative techniques like anaerobic and natural processes and began cultivating multiple varieties such as Pacamara, Borbón Rosado, and Colombia.

Harvest of ripe cherries, flotation system to remove impurities and lower-quality beans. Fermented in tanks for 10 hours, then a must from a previous fermentation is added along with eucalyptus flowers to enhance the sensory profile, fermenting for an additional 40 hours.

Dried in patio for 24 hours, then in mechanical silo for 48 hours.

Reserve O lots are roasted to order:

Morning Tracks

Before we turn on the coffee roaster in the morning, there's one thing we just can't go without.. music. We curated several playlists for you to enjoy while sipping. Some are perfect to relax and wind down, others can get a bit loud and noisy from time to time. Some have even been put together by the farmers we collaborate with. Keep on rocking in the free world!
